AKARI X Is a 22-year old artist, music producer and songwriter originally from the Florida Gulf Coast and currently residing in Los Angeles, CA. AKARI X has been creating music for 6 years, but in the last few years he has made a huge shift to focus more on his art. Impressively all self-taught, AKARI X is a blended mix between Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti and Trippie Redd.

 

In 2019, he released his first single “Doctor” under the stage name Shleem Pink! In 2020, He released a single titled “Shifuku” featuring Australian rap artist Kiid Spyro, the song caught attention of Fortnite Streamers, and was featured on a video by Faze Flea. The song is currently sitting at over 1 million views on all platforms, and is his biggest song to date.

 

AKARI X's music is Inspired by an 8-Bit Digital World. AKARI X is what the future of alternative rap could sound like. Futuristic instrumentals, heavy vocal production, with a very punk overlay to glue together the sound. Anarchy, & Angel Numbers, Inspired by a roller coaster ride life-style.. 

 

With producer/alter ego "Onyx Digital" on his side, AKARI X has recently released “The Galaxy” mixtape and singles “Don’t Go There!” and “Doom Patrol 3!” available now on all platforms.

 

His musical influences range between bratty pop punk bands like “Green Day” all the way to poppy radio artists like “Lady Gaga” all infused into an almost Travis Scott/Kanye West like production. More recently, AKARI X has been inspired by Lil Uzi Vert, Bladee, & Deko, AKARI X wants to give a fresh take on a familiar sound and push it forward as a prog/experimental version of it.

 

AKARI X's plans for the future consist of staying healthy, working on new music, and staying consistent.
